Khaleeq is down.
He has been vomiting since morning and there's even spots of blood clot in one of the projectile vomiting bouts. We were actually from my mom's place in Puchong for Shoshoff's aqiqah. His temperature also suddenly soared which was an added reason for us to act quickly. With the influenza threats around town, we were not about to take chances. He was all dressed for the occasion, but his baju melayu got drenched in vomit in the car, so we quickly made a change of clothes before dashing to the clinic.
Destination: Klinik Kanak-Kanak Dr Ting in Puchong Jaya. It's 5 minutes from my mom's place and besides, the clinic was given raving reviews by my Mak Anjang who sends all her kids over there for any prolong bouts of flu. Apparently, his medicine works. :)
By the time we arrived, Khaleeq was so dehydrated, he was sooo lembik. His temperature was recorded at 39.3C. He even managed to demonstrate the vomitting in front of the Doctor which in turn gave him a pass to be admitted. Dr Ting suggested that we transfer him into Columbia Asia Hospital in Bandar Puteri, Puchong. I was hesitant. None other than logistics issues and besides we have never tried any other hospital except Pantai Medical Centre in Bangsar. (Oh, except that one time Azrul had his nose done up in Gleneagles, Ampang) But, then again, what if there were no beds in Pantai and thinking that we had to go through the diagnosis yet again, just imagine how long it would take to get admitted (if there were available beds, that is). We decided that we'd just go ahead and arrange for the admission at Columbia Asia. A phone call to PM Care later confirmed that they are apart of the approved panel hospitals, so Phew.. (This is why I love TM so much. Thanks for the superb medical coverage, guys..)

I pun recommend jugak la Dr. Ting tu. He has been Harith's paed since yr 2004. Lepas nie nak introduce Hayl pulak to the Dr. :)
